The HIV Legal Network has fact sheets on the rights of people living with HIV. They cover employment, parenting, and access to health care for people without permanent residence or citizenship. AI and gender-based violence - Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF)
Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund has a new resource on artificial intelligence (AI) and gender-based violence. It explains how AI can be used to cause harm, and outlines some of the legal issues and protections involved.

Social Security Tribunal (SST) launches new portal
The Social Security Tribunal has a new online portal. The SST deals with appeals about the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Canada Disability Benefits, and Employment Insurance. People can use the portal to file and manage appeal documents online.
Sexual harassment in the skilled trades in Canada – Western University
Western University is looking for participants for an anonymous survey on sexual harassment in the skilled trades. Anyone 18 years old or older who has worked in the past 2 years can take part.
Mapping IRCC funding cuts impacts – Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI)
Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants is conducting a survey of immigrant- and refugee-serving organizations on the effects of recent cuts to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). These cuts include refugee health care, newcomer settlement services, and municipal housing supports. All responses are strictly confidential.

These collections can be valuable resources for community workers looking to connect clients with culturally relevant legal information and supports.
What's happening at CLEO
New Human Rights Guided Pathway
The Human Rights Legal Support Centre and CLEO have released a new Human Rights Guided Pathway. This free online tool is for people who have experienced discrimination and want to apply to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO).
The Pathway asks users simple questions and helps them complete the forms they need to start an HRTO application. It’s designed for people who do not have a lawyer and want help understanding the process.
