CLEO Legal Information Webinars image

A Power of Attorney is a legal document in which one person gives another the power to make personal and financial decisions for them when they are unable. This series outlines important issues that should be considered when preparing a Power of Attorney.

Participants will also learn how to use CLEO’s Guided Pathway, an easy-to-use interactive tool that helps people prepare a Power of Attorney. A computer screen will be needed to sample the Guided Pathways tool but is not needed to attend the webinar.

Part 2: Power of Attorney for Property

Learn about important considerations when making a Power of Attorney for Property. This gives another person the power to manage your property for you. Property is anything you own or have the sole right to use, like money, a rental apartment, or furniture.

Speakers:
Madeleine Hebert and Megan Stuckey
Lawyers with Advocacy North for Elders & Seniors and the Sudbury Community Legal Clinic

Date and time: Thursday November 17, 12-1 PM
