Family Councils in long-term care homes Family Councils Ontario has released Starting Strong, a toolkit to help families and friends of residents start or strengthen a Family Council in long-term care homes. It outlines the structure of Family Councils, what they can do, and their legal rights. It also includes links to training, templates, and supports to help councils be successful. Form N15 Notice to End Tenancy due to fear of violence The Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario (ACTO) has produced an issue brief and tip guide on how to complete an N15 Notice to End Tenancy Due to Fear of Sexual or Domestic Violence and Abuse. Steps to Justice has a new tipsheet to help people link their case with the Landlord and Tenant Board to their Tribunals Ontario Portal account.
