Disability Tax CreditConnecting Ottawa has produced an information sheet on the Disability Tax Credit. It covers who can get it, how to apply, and what to do if an application is denied. Legal help for workplace sexual harassmentSHAPE is a coalition of 6 community legal clinics from across Ontario. It offers legal advice and information to workers who are sexually harassed, discriminated against, or sexually assaulted in the workplace. Workers can contact 833-677-5146 for free legal advice from a lawyer or paralegal. Their website has more information, including tools for workers and employers on rights and prevention. Disability Employment Awareness MonthOctober is Disability Employment Awareness Month, which recognizes the contributions of people living with disabilities and focuses on workplace inclusion.
