At this conference you will learn:
- who can make a refugee claim under the Safe Third Country Agreement
- how to anticipate and prepare for challenges at the border
- options for people sent back to the US
- the refugee claim process and applying for a Legal Aid Ontario certificate
The conference will also cover best practices to support people once they enter Canada, and equip you with resources and handouts.
