Assessing Client Matters for Anti-Black Racism

In this webinar for legal professionals, the Executive Director of the Black Legal Action Centre, Demar Kemar Hewitt, will discuss case scenarios in which clients allege to have experienced anti-Black racism and other intersecting Code grounds. This will include discussion of principles to keep in mind when evaluating cases for anti-Black racism and developing an application theory. We will explore key considerations in drafting HRTO applications, common errors to avoid, and strategies to address Tribunal requests for additional evidence/submissions. The webinar will also include time for questions.
