In this webinar for legal professionals, the Executive Director of the Black Legal Action Centre, Demar Kemar Hewitt, will discuss case scenarios in which clients allege to have experienced anti-Black racism and other intersecting Code grounds. This will include discussion of principles to keep in mind when evaluating cases for anti-Black racism and developing an application theory. We will explore key considerations in drafting HRTO applications, common errors to avoid, and strategies to address Tribunal requests for additional evidence/submissions.
