Housing and tenants’ rights during COVID-19

Thousands of tenants across Ontario have fallen behind on rent due to the pandemic.  Facing risk of eviction, many tenants find themselves uncertain about their rights as they struggle to keep their housing.  What options do tenants have to deal with rent arrears and possible eviction?  What can tenants do if they have been pressured into repayment plans with landlords who may use these to enforce an eviction?

Our legal expert will answer these questions and more.  Updates on the eviction moratorium and Bill 184 will also be provided.
